About us
intentsGP Ltd was formed in 2009. We're a family business run by two brothers: Mark (Chief Tent Setter-Upper) and Alex (Bank Roller and Van Packer). Although they're the bosses, they don't do everything (yep correct, they didn't write this!)
If you phone or email us, you are most likely to speak to Mark as we all have "virtual offices". Yes we are a real company and yes we are real people! Phone us or email us if you have any questions, we will be very pleased to help you.
Most of us are keen bikers. One of us has raced professionally and one of us is too scared to go near anything with less than 4 wheels. We've all owned a chequered history of awful bikes and budget track day cars that all eventually end up on eBay after being broken or in one of Her Majesty's vehicle crushers (RIP Mark's Drifting Vauxhall Omega).
Having been to a number of events over the years we felt there was a need (we thought particularly for the motorcycle enthusiasts who just cannot carry all the necessary camping gear to the race) for some sort of pre-arranged tent facility. This has since extended into F1 events as we found that racegoers were very keen to have all the accommodation and extras sorted for them, whether the problem is not being able to get a tent on the back of your R1 or not being able to take a tent in your car because your boot is full of scrumpy.
We started in 2009 by doing the Valencia MotoGP as a test event which was a great success. Come the race, we had to turn people away which took us by surprise but showed us we had the right idea.
Our aim is to provide you with hassle-free, high quality, affordable accommodation that’s ready for when you arrive. We also supply you with tables, chairs, coolboxes with ice, power, bedding, heated marquees, satellite TV, barbecues and a slew of other goodies. Check out our race pages to see what we offer.
